Morning Burst Facial Cleasner

This is the second bottle of this cleaner that I have finished up. Clean n clear is the first skincare line that I tried when I was like  ~15~ years old. When I first came aware of this whole washing your face with a cleanser as oppose to just water, I was really lazy with it. There would be times when I would wash my face day and night with this product and then there would be times that I would just not wash face with a cleanser for a couple of months. The last two months I have really gotten into taking care of skin and just paying more attention to my skin, that is where the desire to start this post came from.  Once I did start washing my face with a cleanser on a daily bases, I used the Garnier skin naturals fresh grape water cleanser. A couple of weeks ago I started using the clean and clear morning burst again to finish it up.

My Thoughts

Now first I would like to introduce my skin type, I have extremely oily skin that will get noticeably oily after two hours of putting on any type of primer, powder, or foundation. In addition I have slightly acne-prone skin that comes along with it.  What I expect from a cleanser is to simply clean it so that there will not be excess oils to clog up my pores and cause breakouts.

I used this product only in the mornings as it suggested and because I wanted to use the garnier one at night. Overall I do really like this product, like I said before I do not have too much knowledge on cleansers as I am fairly new to them but, from my experience with some other ones that I have tried all I ask for it is to not make my face feel dry and tired, and this does not do either of that. I know the whole bursting you awake is a gimmick but I really like the cool feeling that it leaves on my face. I do not know what it is but it does make my face feel cooler and me more alert in the morning, different from other cleansers.

While using this it hasn't opened up my pores so much that it starts breaking me out, but I do not think this has accomplish any miracle work like my Mario Bedescu acne cleanser (I will be writing a review for that as soon as I finish it.). But I do think I may pick it up one day in the future if I see it on sale or I do not have any other cleaners that I want to try.

Another thing that I really like about this product is that it has a pump. The pump dispenses just the right amount each time and spares me of getting too little or too much of the product out.

Does the job, no pimples

Leaves my face clean, not dry and stripped of moisture; smooth skin

Leaves skin glowing after the initial use, like with most cleansers.

$11 for 238 ml in Canada

Quality: 3.5/5 because it works as a cleanser but it’s nothing special

Value: 4/5 because you get a lot for a low price.

Repurchase? Maybe, but not anytime soon. Actually it may be great in during the hot summer weather.
